After her father's mysterious death, Irini decides to return to her family home, where she now finds herself in the hands of her stepmother, Magda, and her half-brother, Lefteris. She quickly becomes aware of her stepmother's secret love affair with the enigmatic housekeeper, Panagiotis, which makes her suspicious. The same goes for young Lefteris' aversion to Panagiotis.
